Reg. 1223/2009

The European Regulation 1223/ 2009 requires the application of good manufacturing practices in the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products in order to guarantee the quality and safety of the product.

Regulation 1223/2009 provides various requirements for placing cosmetics on the EU market: the appointment of the Responsible Person, the PIF and the safety assessment, the Centralized Notification to the CPNP.
